BOOK IT! Program 2016-2017

posted Oct 3, 2016, 12:19 PM by KATHERINE CAUDILL

Our school is participating in the BOOK IT! Program sponsored by Pizza Hut.  Our goal for this program is to help your child to become an active reader.  Active readers love to read and that is the whole purpose of this program.  The BOOK IT! Programs runs from October 1, 2016 to March 31st, 2017.  Every grade will have a goal of how many minutes that your child should read daily for each month (This includes Saturdays and Sundays).   If your child meets their reading goal each month then they will be given a reading award which will allow them to receive a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.  Awards will be given out at the beginning of the new month when your child comes to library.

Monthly Goals

Kindergarten - October 310 mins = 10 mins daily 1st - 6th grade October 620 mins. = 20 minutes daily
